About the characters

As characters are introduced, I will start a short paragraph on them. I may add comments/description of places, events, or other stuff too.

Phoebe: She's the main character, the heroine of the tale. Bruised and battered from an emotionally traumatic relationship, she's off to the Trinity Alps in California for some "R and R". Slim, blonde, and exhausted, she is looking forward to several weeks of hiking, napping, and spending time on her quilts and her journal.

She's also compassionate, gentle, and unbeknownst to her, a healer and a sensitive. She's open to others' emotions, feeling them through her skin, but not yet able to express that knowledge. She can heal through her gentle, loving touch, but this too she is not yet aware of. She'll meet someone soon, who can help her learn what she is capable of.
